About The Golden SIM Hunt
What is The Golden SIM Hunt?
The Golden SIM Hunt is a national scavenger hunt-style competition brought to you by Tesco Mobile x Secret Media Network. Giant Golden SIM Cards will be hidden in cities across the UK – find one and scan the QR code to unlock a prize. Clues to the locations of the hidden Golden SIM Cards will be posted on site here. When does The Golden SIM Hunt take place?
Monday 17th November: The hunt begins with the first drop of Golden SIM Cards
Tuesday 25th November: There will be a second drop of Golden SIM Cards
Monday 1st December: The hunt ends, all SIMs must be redeemed by 11pm
Be quick to join the hunt because once all the Golden SIM Cards have been found, it's game over!
What happens when I find a Golden SIM Card and how do I redeem a prize?
Once you have successfully found a Golden SIM Card, you must scan the QR code on the back, which will tell you what prize you've won. On that page, you'll need to enter your details so we can contact you. Our team will be in touch a few days after to organize your prize delivery. IMPORTANT: Make sure to hold onto the card you have found as this will be used to verify that you are a winner.
How many Golden SIM Cards are there?
There are a number of Golden SIM Cards hidden across the UK: 34 in London, 18 in Birmingham, 16 in Manchester, 12 in Bristol, 12 in Liverpool, 12 in Edinburgh, 12 in Glasgow and 8 in Belfast.
About Prizes
What are the different prizes available?
We have 7 different types of prizes available: Apple iPhone 17, Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus, Google Pixel 10 Pro, Samsung Galaxy Buds3 Pro, Apple Airpods Pro 3, Fever Vouchers (£200), Tesco Gift Cards (£150).
Can I enter more than once / try to find multiple Golden SIM Cards?
Prizes are limited to one per person and each Golden SIM Card is only redeemable once.
Can I transfer or exchange my prize?
Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.
Rules & Participation
When will the next drop of Golden SIM Cards be?
The next (second) drop with new Golden SIM Cards hidden in more locations will be on Tuesday 25th November. The hunt will end on Monday 1st December at 11pm.
When will be the last day to redeem a Golden SIM Card?
All Golden SIM Cards must be redeemed by 11pm on Monday 1st December.
Can we take part in The Golden SIM Hunt in groups or teams?
Yes, you can team up for the hunt but there will only be one prize available per Golden SIM Card found.
Can all ages participate?
While all ages and families are welcome to join in the hunt, you will need to be 18+ to redeem a prize. We will verify your age against your ID in the redemption process.
How will I know if the Golden SIM Card I have found is real?
Genuine Golden SIM Cards will have our official logo and a unique QR code. Do not share your code publicly — once scanned, it's linked to your prize.

I found a Golden SIM Card and completed the form but haven't been contacted – what should I do?
If you have successfully found a Golden SIM Card, have completed the form and been confirmed as a winner, you will be contacted by our team who will contact you via email to verify your age, address and Golden SIM Card proof. Please make sure you keep hold of your Golden SIM Card, as we will need it to confirm your win.
If you haven’t heard from us before December 5, 2025, please check your spam/junk folder. If you still cannot find an email you may have not been the first person to redeem the Golden SIM and it’s code. If you are certain you are the winner you may contact winners@ndlgroup.com.

I have verified my age, address and Golden SIM Card proof but still haven't received my prize – what should I do?
If you have already been verified as a Golden SIM Hunt winner, your prize is most likely on its way. Please keep hold of your Golden SIM Card until the prize process is complete.
